Description
PKC-9 is a 2-(6-phenyl-1H indazol-3-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole derivative optimized to be a potent and selective inhibitor of protein kinase c-zeta (PKC-ζ; 5.18nM). The analog displays good selectivity over other PKC isoforms (α, βII, γ, δ, ε, μ, θ, η and ι/λ) and CDK-2. The inhibition of PKC-ζ is proposed to be a potential drug target for immune and inflammatory diseases.
